I’ve always had a difficult relationship with the meaning of home. For me, it was because I’ve always had an innate ability to find a deep connection and appreciation for any place, person, or thing.
Nothing changed my life more than when I moved to a retirement community in Arizona to care for my Sicilian grandma. At 21 years old, I learned more about life, and death, than I could have ever imagined.
The time I spent in my grandma’s garden helped inspire the next trajectory of my life. I started Honestus to help others find their voice and connection to the places, cultures, and people that helped pave the way for their current passions. Today, I am a communications professional growing communities and leading with the strong conviction that every person, organization, and place has a worthy story to tell.
